Goin' Public!

My daughter, "Heart" and 10 other kids in our church Quest Community Fellowship (Cebu, Philippines) are going public with their faith in Jesus Christ on the 13th of Jul.  Here's Heart's video testimony... enjoy!  I am so proud of her!!!

Reciting Psalm 23

Many times we forget that we need God's word to remind us how true He is in our lives!

Small? but no small part!

I was driving my bug on the way home with my 6 year old daughter when suddenly my Bug stopped right in the middle of the road! I managed to use the battery to push the car to the side...at first I thought oh my GAS! but I checked there were plenty of gas...well I'm not a mechanic and so I called Ptr. Jim for help, (well, Ptr. Jim is not a mechanic but he's a handyman!) like 911 he came in a flash...he found the problem my "contact point" (a small part about 2inches...that's responsible for distributing power to the car) was busted-the spring snapped. As I was thinking about this event I remembered this verse:

"If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad." - 1Corinthians 12:26

The next day I bought the part, it wasn't even 500 pesos (10USD) it's so small and cheap yet my car won't run without it! Ptr. Jim installed that small thing and sweet my car runs again! hahaha! Thanks to Ptr. Jim!

Another reminder that all parts are important even if it's small or even unseen. :-)

Don't Worry

I remember one time...about 3 months ago...

What was i thinking? I woke up so early and so suddenly and realized that my (then) 8 month old son wasn't with us in bed! I jumped up and shouted "Where's Jake?" I thought he might have done some acrobatics and fell...WHEW! He was actually outside with his nanny strolling...What a RELIEF!

At least I've decided to start! Wohoo!!!

For such a long long time people have been blogging and i've been reading them. Now it's my turn to post some highlights of my day and may you find yourself blessed knowing that we share the same struggles and victories. I'm no different than anybody else...I'm a forgiven man and one that's loved so dearly by my Creator! So just enjoy and read up! Hopefully, I can have something to write about everyday.
